This research employs theoretical method of deriving an equation algebraically by utilizing the fundamentals of Trigonometry and Algebra to solve the real life scenario of finding the speed of an aeroplane in the air. Furthermore, the same research method and formula can be utilized by lighthouse operators to estimate the cruising speed of ships in the sea, which is discussed in the later part of the research paper.
