Children's Perspectives on Believing and Belonging

Based on a University of East London study, which involved 9- to 11-year-old pupils from schools in deprived inner city areas in London and the North of England, this research report considers their views on religiously diverse schools and local communities. It shows that children's religious identities and experiences are diverse and complex, that they understand many aspects of religious diversity, and that they are able to talk about it with interest and insight. This downloadable report will be support those who have an interest in policy debates on social cohesion, faith-based schools and faith communities.
