De jure naturae et gentium

In 'De jure naturae et gentium,' the most important textbook of natural rights of his era, Samuel Pufendorf (1632-1694) offered philosophical, theological, and historical grounding for his doctrines of the persona moralis and the social nature of man. In this volume of materials, Frank Böhling includes essays on Pufendorf's biography along with detailed commentary on the eight books that comprise this work (Volumes 4.1 and 4.2 of our edition).
