The Challenge of Counting the Ballots by the Central Election Commission in Republic of Kosovo

Essay from the year 2022 in the subject Politics - Region: Eastern Europe, grade: 4 (A), , course: Political System, language: English, abstract: One of the biggest challenges in the administration of elections in the Republic of Kosovo is the counting of votes after the end of election day. One of the most chronic problems of the CEC is the counting of votes of candidates of political parties in the electoral list. Counting is a challenge which affects the credibility of the elections and the fair administration of the vote of the party candidates. The open proportional list as well as the commissioners of the political parties count the votes of their political parties and their candidates so far were a high challenge to achieve quality standards in the process of organizing elections and counting the votes and the final official publication by the Central Election Commission of Republic of Kosovo.

Blerim Burjani :Blerim Burjani was born in Pristina, in capital city of state of Kosovo. Primary and secondary school finish at his birthplace. Law Faculty in the University of Pristina general direction . Magistrates studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Pristina. PhDc Until now hold a series of public functions such is Political Adviser to the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Political Advisor in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Representatives of the Government of Kosovo in CEFTA, the former member of the CEC. Blerim has experience 19 years in high education as a lecturor professor at the Business College, was a professor in the College and University of Pristina ,College 'Dardania' and 'FAMA'. In public opinion is known as an expert in development policies and political analyst and executive director of the Kosovo Institute for Development Policy. He has worked for a range of local and international organizations as follows: Council of Europe, KIPA, Human Dynamic in Vienna (Austria), B & S Strategy in Europe, World Bank, UNDP,USAID/RIINVEST, ECMI. He speaks and writes in two international languages: English and Spanish. He lives in Pristina.
