Eric Maurice Fonsenius is born in 1946 on the Island of Langeland in the South of Denmark. Since 55 years married to Sylvie, a girl from Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. It's her amazing creations of smørrebrød, that inspired him to write this book on the Danish national dish.
